On 1 January 2014 the former municipalities of Kyburg-Buchegg, Tscheppach, Brügglen, Aetingen, Aetigkofen, Bibern (SO), Gossliwil, Hessigkofen, Mühledorf (SO), Küttigkofen merged into the new municipality of Buchegg.
