Mandatory fees and taxes include tourist taxes, which vary by city: in Lucerne CHF 4.90 per person and night (children up to 15 years are exempt; no tax applies if registered in the city); in Basel CHF 4.20 per person and night (children up to 12 years are exempt; no tax applies if registered in the city, with a maximum of 30 nights charged); and in Zug CHF 1.00 per person and night (children up to 12 years are exempt; no tax applies if registered in the city). For stays of 28 nights or more, a deposit of CHF 2,000.00 is required, which will be refunded after departure, following a successful inspection of the property. Additionally, a final cleaning fee of CHF 200.00 is mandatory for stays of 28 nights or more; this fee is not included in the booking price and will be charged separately.
