Thanks to a cultural tradition that still persists, the town became the world capital of watchmaking in the 19th century. The town of Le Locle is located at an altitude of almost 1000m, has about 12,000 inhabitants, and is less than 8km from the French border. It has many historic buildings, as well as primary, secondary, and higher education schools (CIFOM). It is accessible by motorway, rail, and air (Les Eplatures regional airport in La Chaux-de-Fonds). This commercial building is located on the west side of the town, 5 minutes from the motorway connecting the town of La Chaux-de-Fonds, and also just a few minutes from the Les Eplatures airfield. It also has a nearby public transport stop.
